Girl Scouts of Scotts Valley Troop 1039 taking part in a Radio Ham Jamboree Day. Martin set up his extensive Radio Ham equipment, gave a talk about it's history and uses and instructed the Scout Troop who searched and made contact with other Scout Troops in the USA. Chatting, exchanging call signs and plotting all the locations around the US on the map. Contacts were made with over 10 different states in the US and Canada including the Radio Room of the US Ship Missouri down in Pearl Harbor. Hannah's Scout Troop couldn't be dragged away until well after dark and then Julie knocked up another fabulous BBQ for all the kids and parents.
